Great Campsite

Absolutely fabulous campsite. Spent long weekend for Pickering 1940s celebration. Facilities excellent. Beautiful wet rooms and baths!! Pitches large and flat. We did not bring our dog but will definitely go back again with her. Great dog walking area and their own shower/bath. Staff very friendly and obliging. Prices reasonable and discount for pensioners. Can't wait for next visit.

Lovely place

Booked the weekend at short notice as we had to visit family. We've never been before. The lady I spoke to on the phone was really lovely, we got stuck in traffic so we're going to be a little later than expected, but she was absolutely fine about it:) it was late and dark when we set up, so had a good look around the day after:) to find it was lovely and clean, the unisex shower block is brilliant, and very well thought out, a full wet room with toilet sink and shower and still lots of room to get ready.the hard standing pitches are quite a good size, and again well thought out:) we will definitely come back:) thank you.

Super site

Great facilities and lovely clean site. Super for dogs with field where they can have an off lead run and also a dog wash! Washroom facilities excellent with wet rooms, showers, baths, basins in cubicles, all manner of combinations to suit individuals, families and disabled. Free site wide wifi, ok it did drop out a bit but to have free wifi on a site is rare. Only addition that would make it perfect would be secure bike storage. The area attracts mountain bikers who have expensive bikes so somewhere safe to keep them would be great.

You can't fault this place, it is so well organised and those that run it clearly know what they're doing. It is spacious, attractive and has every facility. The new shower block is particularly attractive, I challenge you to find a better one. It's good for kids and the older generation. The dog walking area is large with great views to take in. The local area is of great interest too, always something going on. You're close to the seaside, Dolby Forest and historic towns with good shopping amenities.

Great site

Stayed for a week. Lovely clean facilites. Handy having an onsite shop. Enjoyed fish and chips from the mobile fish man on Wednesday evening. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were on the rally field furthest away from the hook up and reception even let us an extension lead! Would highly recommend this site to others.
