We are all getting excited about our forthcoming presentation for AA North East Caravan park of the Year 2013. (Pics will be posted next week)
Today has been a busy day on the farm and as I am typing (8.30pm) Chris is only just coming in for the night. His day started this morning at 4.45am to milk the cows. We have had 1 calf born this afternoon at 2.30pm. It is a female charolais and is exceptionally cute. Chloe has chosen a calf that she will be showing at our local summer shows this year. She spends time grooming it and putting a halter on so that it gets used to being handled. The next stage of training will be to lead the calf out. This is usually the tricky bit and Chloe will need a lot of patience !
